Last year, our VSP Nursing students had the opportunity to visit the Nitobe Memorial Garden at UBC — one of the most authentic Japanese gardens outside of Japan. Its tranquility can be enjoyed year-round, providing a perfect setting for reflection and connection with nature.

The VSP Nursing Program is offering two exciting courses that dive into the aging process and hands-on caregiving as part of Package A: Seniors’ Health and Caregiving!
Introduction to Seniors’ Health: Gain a deeper understanding of aging, common health challenges, and best practices for supporting seniors’ well-being.
Introduction to Caring for Seniors at Home and in the Community: Learn how to support seniors in their own homes by exploring practical tips for creating safe and supportive environments.
Both courses feature field trips, expert guest speakers, and valuable hands-on experience that will give you a solid foundation in senior care!
